One last sanctuary weekend
The Retreat Animal Sanctuary closes to the public for the season after Sunday 22 November 2026. Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November are your last opportunities this season to enjoy the sanctuary, café and shops together.
Jennings Plantry will then open for two special Christmas shopping weekends in December — extra opportunities to stock up on your favourite festive vegan goodies.

Visiting in December

Please make your way directly to the supermarket and do not wander around the sanctuary, as it will be closed to visitors.
Wellies or suitable outdoor footwear are recommended — the grounds can become muddy during winter.
