We want your Jennings Plantry order to arrive quickly and in perfect condition. Here’s everything you need to know about how we ship orders.
🚚 Order Processing & Dispatch

Orders are processed Monday to Thursday.

Orders placed after 12pm on Thursday will be shipped the following Monday.

We do not dispatch orders on weekends or bank holidays.

We sometimes dispatch orders on Fridays for Saturday delivery, depending on stock, workload, and the type of order — this is not guaranteed, but we do our best when possible.

Festive Period: During November–December, orders may take up to 7 days to be processed due to increased demand.

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail.
The shipping method depends on the type of items in your basket:
For non-perishable items (ambient goods):

For perishable items (chilled or frozen):

Tracked 24 is at your own risk — it does not include compensation or cover.
❄️ Perishable Orders – Important Info
We carefully pack perishable items using thermal liners and ice packs. However:

Perishables are shipped via Tracked 24 only.

Tracked 24 does not include cover if items arrive defrosted, delayed, or spoiled.

We cannot offer refunds or replacements for spoiled perishable items sent via Tracked 24.

Please set a Safe Place via your Royal Mail app/account to avoid missed deliveries.

If no one is home and no Safe Place is set, Royal Mail may return the parcel to the depot — this can cause delays we cannot control.

Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout.
We are not liable for:

Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses

Spoilage caused by delivery to an incorrect location
🔍 Tracking Your Order
You’ll receive a Royal Mail tracking link once your parcel has been dispatched.
Tracking may take a few hours to update after dispatch.

Yes! All orders over £80 qualify for free Tracked 24 shipping within the UK.
🧊 Can I choose Tracked 24 for chilled or frozen goods?
Yes — but entirely at your own risk.
Tracked 24 does not include compensation or guaranteed delivery for perishables.
⏱️ When will my order be dispatched?
Orders are processed Monday–Thursday.
Anything after 12pm Thursday is dispatched Monday.
During the festive season, dispatch may take up to 7 days.
🏠 What if I’m not home when the delivery arrives?
Set a Safe Place via the Royal Mail app.
If no Safe Place is set, Royal Mail may return your parcel to the depot — this can cause delays and spoilage, and we are not liable.
