Shipping Information

We want your Jennings Plantry order to arrive quickly and in perfect condition. Here’s everything you need to know about how we ship orders.


🚚 Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 working days

  • Dispatch days: Monday to Thursday only

  • Cut-off time: Orders placed after 12pm on Thursday will be shipped the following Monday

We do not dispatch orders on weekends or bank holidays.

📦 Delivery Services & Options

All orders are shipped with Royal Mail. The shipping method depends on the type of items in your basket:

For non-perishable items (ambient goods):

  • Tracked 24 (next-day aim)

  • Tracked 48 (2–3 working days)

For perishable items (chilled or frozen):

  • Tracked 24 (at your own risk – no guarantee or cover)

  • Special Guaranteed by 1pm (next-day guaranteed with cover)

Special Guaranteed orders are only guaranteed Mon–Thurs.
Orders placed after 12pm Thursday will be dispatched Monday and delivered Tuesday.


❄️ Perishable Orders – Important Info

We pack chilled and frozen items using thermal liners and ice packs. However, due to courier handling, delays, and missed deliveries, some defrosting may occur.

  • We highly recommend choosing Special Guaranteed delivery for all perishable orders.

  • Tracked 24 does not include cover if your items arrive defrosted.

  • We cannot offer refunds or replacements for spoiled items sent via Tracked 24.

  • Someone must be available to sign for Special Guaranteed deliveries, or the guarantee is void.

  • Customers must set a Safe Place via the Royal Mail app for all deliveries.


Incorrect Addresses

Please check your address carefully before placing your order.
We are not liable for delays, spoilage, or missing parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details.


🔍 Tracking Your Order

You’ll receive a Royal Mail tracking link once your parcel has been dispatched. Tracking may take a few hours to update after dispatch.

💸 Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! All orders over £80 qualify for free Tracked 24 shipping within the UK.


🧊 Why do you recommend Special Guaranteed for perishable items?

Because it's the only Royal Mail service that includes a guaranteed delivery time and full compensation if something goes wrong. Tracked 24 is faster than Tracked 48 but is not covered or guaranteed for perishables.


📦 Can I still choose Tracked 24 for chilled or frozen goods?

Yes – but entirely at your own risk. If your items arrive defrosted, we cannot offer a refund or replacement unless you selected Special Guaranteed and were home to receive it.


⏱️ When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are processed in 1–2 working days and dispatched Monday to Thursday only.

🏠 What if I’m not home when the delivery arrives?

Use the Royal Mail app to set a Safe Place for delivery.
If no one is home and no Safe Place is set, your parcel may be returned to the depot, causing delays.
We are not liable for spoiled items due to missed delivery or lack of Safe Place.
