What is Caramel Toffee?We found that some people assume that toffee is rock hard, but that's not the kind of toffee we make! Like the chewy toffees Mackintosh created a hundred plus years ago, combining recipes for caramels and toffees, and creating a toffee that was Not too hard, and not too soft. For a while he marketed his softer, chewier toffees as Caramel Toffee, and we think that perfectly describes our toffees too!
